Michael Tremante, Composer

Michael Tremante draws upon his experience as a multi-instrumentalist, performer, and music producer when creating music for film. Since 2004 he has worked on several award-winning films, scoring fourteen features and more than twenty shorts. Classical training, contemporary sensibility and experimentation inform his work, with an interest in combining traditional and nontraditional instruments and sound elements.

Michael began his film music career assisting Academy Award winning composer Howard Shore and served as Associate Music Producer on Peter Jackson’s “The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring” and Music Co-Producer on David Fincher’s “Panic Room and David Cronenberg’s “Spider”.
